Melanie founded Details and Lace in 2017 after a long, successful federal career in executive support, project management, and corporate event planning. She brings the same dedication and diligence learned from years of working for the U.S. Army to each couple and wedding. No logistic is too complex and no detail is too small for Melanie’s expert hands!

Rebecca is an Augusta, GA native who moved to Charlottesville a little over 5 years ago.
Rebecca's corporate and personal planning experience began as an Executive Assistant for an Entrepreneur. Those skills became invaluable when she entered the event industry. Rebecca has worked at some of Charlottesville's premier and luxury venues. We are so excited to have her bring her knowledge to the Details and Lace team.
Rebecca's husband is a UVA Men's Tennis Coach (Go HOOS) and they haves two amazing children and two wonderful golden retrievers.

Cynthea has lived in the Charlottesville area for more than a decade and has worked in events and logistics for seven years. Cynthea has a strong love for event planning and is always happy to assist with any floral projects our clients have!
Cynthea is celebrating eight years of marriage with her husband, Chris and has two beautiful children.
