Melanie Scott is the owner and lead planner of Details and Lace. After many years of working for others and ready to enjoy life's sweetest moments, she began Details and Lace in 2017.
When Melanie isn't planning a wedding, she loves gardening and spending time with her husband, children (now adults) and family pets.
Sydnie Kostelac joined the Details and Lace family in 2019 and serves as an assistant planner. From local wineries to hiking trails, she’s your go-to gal for all-things Charlottesville.

Michaela Malboeuf joined the Details and Lace family in 2020 and we could not be more excited to have her! Born and raised in Central Virginia, Michaela is proud to call the Blue Ridge Mountains her home.
